Even in Texas, fall is starting to show us some cooler temperatures. This should be the start to the best time of year for riding and training our horses. Hopefully the good weather will continue and maybe even get a little rain snuck in.
Our horses are busy eating their hay and enjoying their shade. Soon they will be back at their jobs and ready to see what a new season brings.
Our newest addition, Nic Nac, or Nicci, needs to put on some weight. She was underweight when we bought her three weeks ago, so now it's a matter of time to see her fatten up. Sunday, our Quarter horse/Arabian, has the opposite issue and could handle to drop a couple pounds. She should be set for giving riding lessons.
