Training Progress

After another week of work with Nicci, she is getting much more consistent with her gait. She should be more than ready for certification in a couple months.

Nicci also showed me how well she can canter. She is as smooth as glass and willingly jumped right into it for me; then she went back into gait afterwards. She is really amazing and we are becoming good friends.

Yesterday I went out to check on everyone and she was laying down in her paddock. She let me come right up to her to pet her and she even let me sit on her without budging. She really loves the attention and has absolutely no fear of us humans.

Another successful week. I'm so looking forward to the next one!
