Hello Friends!
We have much to tell since our last time writing on this page.
For starters, we have another horse! He is a purebred Rocky Mountain Horse and is currently three and a half years old. His name is Sky Fall Ultimate Lightning and we call him Junior.
He is supposed to be my husband's horse, but I have to admit that I'm smitten and claim his as my own!
He is probably the smartest horse I have ever worked with. He learns quickly, and maintains it even though I only have the opportunity to work with him once a week or less; sometimes with weeks in between rides.
We are boarding with friends and they have really been a blessing! I worry very little about my horses and even though we had a colic scare with Mindy when we first moved them, we adjusted her feed and haven't had an issue since.
Last year about this time, we nearly lost her to colic, so to have sorted out her feed and to see her fat and happy is such a relief!
